Capri Capital Management grew out of our success as top industrial brokers in the boroughs of New York City. For roughly 10 years we brokered off market development sites to the city's top self storage and industrial developers. We have been involved in multiple headline transactions which have resulted in millions of square feet of development.
In 2020 we saw an opportunity with the shifting landscape to become principals. Our competitive advantage is our in-house deal flow of off-market transactions. We generate and manage a consistent pipeline of deals which have never hit the market, and which we are communicating directly with the owner. Our strategy is value-add driven, meaning that we have to be able to significantly drive value through active management for us to get involved.
In 2021 we partnered with AIP Capital and collectively we specialize in opportunistic investments in undervalued commercial/Industrial properties poised for high yield, and that act as a natural hedge against inflation and down markets. We seek to optimize overall investment performance through acquisitions with value-add components and by implementing disciplined operational procedures.
